Before we go any further, I will try "wip-dumpling-perf" on my
production-platform with "wbthrottle" on and off, because this problem
seems very elusive and we might be chasing the wrong symptoms on my much
less busy test-platform. I'll get back to you. Many thanks for your
help so far!
