No, I worked on a site that is going to go live with 8 countries and
eventually cover every language in the world. All screen text is converted
by Language Perfect Company and stored in SQL nVarchar columns. The
templates require the correct language meta tags to be dynamically set also,
as well as the local language module be installed in the users browser.
Challenge whoever is providing the technical reasoning and ask them what
they are basing that on. Allaire may provide some support documentation on
this type of scenario also.
