We are using a local telco, Birch Telecom, Birch.net, in Kansas City. We
worked it out where our deal included a certain number of minutes of long
distance per month at a given rate, bandwidth, and telecom. We didn't have
to change our numbers either, but we did have to switch them over from the
old carrier (South Western Bell, part of SBC.com).
I don't believe its that hard for them to do, its more a function of the
router and other hardware in your and their office.
