Yeah, LOTR movies the next 3 Decembers. YES!!
BUT have heard rumors of financial problems with New Line Cinema -- anybody
know about this, and if it could affect the ring trilogy's release??

lessee, off the toppa my head:

Three rings for the Elven kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for mortal men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the land of Mordor where the shadows lie.

One ring to rule them all,
One ring to find them
One ring to bring them all
and in the darkness bind them
In the land of Mordor where the shadows lie.

(have been reading and re-reading LOTR for over 30 years now, guess that
REALLY makes me a geek or something <grin>)

I have to agree with Erica. Let's face it this is a geek list and when was
DUNE ever off the "geek" topic. I am not a big Dune fan, I did see the
movie. I like the personality that this type of topic adds to the
Community. It should be a light hearted board. If you got serious CF issues
then go to cf-talk. ..... Can't wait till we get into the Lord of the Rings
discussion later this year :)
