THey did 13 episodes because the producers were pressuring the writer to
make the thief woman,or to introduce a new character that was some sort of
sexual parasite that had to have sex to survive, to spice up the storyline.
The other rumor was that they wanted more action, and less of the
drama/storyline thing that he had going. IN short, they wanted him to change
and rearrange the world they had created so it would fit what their
executive marketing morons wanted it to be.
he told them where, how hard..and with what to go screw themselves and
walked I believe.
