By the way Gel, that photo was taken down at Key West. Ever been there? What
a great place to go and relax. My first trip to the Florida Keys was about 9
years ago with an ex-boyfriend. We drove non-stop from Pennsylvania to his
relative's place on Big Pine Key. What a fabulous time. (although the drive
left little to be desired)...
My next trip wasn't until 5 years later with my current beau, and we flew to
Miami and rented a convertible for the drive down to Key West where we
stayed at the Marriot Casa Marina, on the sunrise side of the island. It was
the site of the old Flagler Mansion, (Mr. Flagler, the guy who tried to
build a railroad from Miami to Key West)
We now try to go at least once a year...do a little fishing...a little
drinking...a little dancing....
A highly recommended vacation spot!
