Well I already have a satellite dish out back..that I think I can modify the
LNB on for Direct PC connection,but that just saves on the cost of the dish.
Monthly unlimited bandwidth is US$800.00 a month..that is TT$5040 ....a bit
pricey for net connection.
And the other prices per MB are ridiculous..capping at about 400MB per
month...which really isn't very much at all. The jump is from 400MB to
Unlimited...hello?? o_O?

If all I want to do is surf webpages I'll stick with my 56K..but If I'm
going to be on a fast link, bet your a$$ I'll be downloading stuff :)
400MB will go in no time at all.
But..fingers crossed...perhaps I'll be eligible for either the wireless
cable modems..(my house just might be positioned correctly with good LOS heh
heh) or some sort of affordable DSL solution in my area (the more likely
option).
Time will tell..

Go figure, I'm in the same boat and I live in Southern CA. I'll probably be
getting satellite internet sooner or later. starband is pretty pricey but
available now. Hughes two way is "Coming" but no firm date. I guess they
rake it in on off us poor saps that live out in the "sticks" LOL
