As the results slowly drift in, it appears that there are many of us who man the entire fort for their company. I do the development including Flash, CF, JS, Mapguide and of course HTML. I also do the DB design and Maintenance as well as the network design, setup and support. And I somehow manage to still have a life. I do not, however, let my cat help as I'm sure he would take over (and I'd probably be out of a job) ;-) Stephen -----Original Message----- From: John Wilker [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, April 25, 2001 3:02 PM To: CF-Community Subject: RE: Roles Currently my team is me, I, and two dogs. I had to let myself go, he was just not pulling his own weight. Before going out on my own I worked at a place with a slight bit of organization. We had 9 developers (ASP mostly, I alone held the Allaire flag), a Dev team manager, 2 DB developers, and a DBA. J. Do you do the programming, web layout, system admin, db admin, managers...or are the functions split up, that kinda of stuff. I am just trying to learn different ways people have their group/team. Trying to get the most out of people without stretching them to thin.... Me, I do everything which in my mind is too much...I'd like someone to handle the content and someone else handle the db admin...so I can focus on the apps themselves.......
