Yes dude...I understand what you are saying.
But...its a touchy subject...because Morality..in the end, even by your
definition, is a variable compass dependent on the individual.
You may think it immoral if I were to appear half naked at a Coldfusion
party and prance around on the table with Dances With Horsies...
But to me that would be fun...and not immoral.
you see?
The standards of morality for societies, are in essence, those laid out by
the law.
And by the law what Judith said is right.
Basically your fist stops at my nose...you can do what you wish, as long as
it does not affect me.
The laws are in place to ensure that the actions of other people does not
affect you.
And it works both ways.
While you might state that therefore the laws should protect you against the
possible (unproven) effects of violent games on certain psychotic
children...I will also say that the laws should protect my FREEDOM of
choice, and the artists freedom of speech in creating those games.
I think when it boils down to it..once you respect the Rights Of The
Individual...you are on the right track.

MORAL: Conforming to standards of what is right or just in behavior
The key is standards.
