You can't be so out of touch to not know kids enough to know that given time
kids tend to cool down. So if some middle class white kid gets picked on, if
there's not a gun in the house, chances are good that he's not gonna know
how to find a gun on the street.
I agree that PART of the problem is violent intent and when people stop
hiding behind and amendment and see that their own singular view point is
another PART of the problem we'll all be in a better place.
Do you think it'll be easier to change the way the entire country thinks and
feels or would it be easier for gun mongers to find a new hobby. You know I
think collecting old hand grenades would be cool, after all as long as you
know it's a deadly instrument with no practical applications it's ok. The
needs of the many out-weigh the needs of the few.
Oh and I can start a race with a whistle, my voice, banging two rocks
together, and a lot of other methods, However few things can replace a
screwdriver. And typically don't races that start with a gun use a starter
pistol? Not an AK-47? or a .45? Not really the same thing are they.

Get real. The problem is the violent intent. THey want to do enough harm,
they will do it no matter what. Fix the heart and the problem with the
violence goes away. Why is everyone afraid to deal with the personal issues
here?
