Are ya gonna bring Molly? That would be fun!
I'll hafta dig my hat/boots outta da closet, haven't worn 'em in years.
Music: I've always loved music. We have a great classical station here. It's
the only kind of programming that I can turn on and have playing without
being distracted from work. And George Strait is one of my favs....he's a
local hero around here (lives a few miles out of town).
Sold my trumpet years ago in a garage sale (sigh). Played in the school band
from 5th grade thru college (Fightin' Texas Aggie Band! Whooop!!). Nine
years ago, I bought a beautiful customized 16-15 Ultralight Masterworks
hammer dulcimer from Russel Cook (http://www.woodnstrings.com/HD_ultra.htm -
mine looks a lot like the left-hand picture). Had to ship it all the way to
the Persian Gulf where I was living at the time because it was too big to
fit under the seat (held my breath for weeks waiting for it to
arrive....when it did, there were foot marks all over the box...I thought
it'd be in splinters, but it survived intact). After tuning it up and
banging on it for awhile, I put it away and haven't taken it out since
(sigh). One of these days....
Back to work...
