another odd fact:
allegedly, Axl's job before touring with the band was as a cigarette
test-smoker. yup, manufacturers would give him cigs to smoke to "rate" and
such.

Interesting trivia bit about Guns and Roses (for those that care):
The band's name came from the last names of the two original founders of
the band:
Tracey Guns and Axl Rose
They had a falling out and Tracey Guns went on to found and lead another
band - L.A. Guns - leaving Axl Rose to lead G-N-R.
