When I first started at my current company, we received a mysterious box of
stuff that no one remembered requesting or paying for. The box contained:

I know this because the durn thing came with a packing list, which also
listed serial numbers for the NFR software, which we didn't actually
install anywhere until I got this computer. I brought a copy of the packing
list with me when I moved so I would be able to install and reinstall at
will. When you said "We get lots of free software" I looked around and the
packing list was right next to my monitor. Ding ding ding!
In the past we also received random boxes containing t-shirts although that
was before my time.
Maybe I should clean my room sometime soon...
