The sad thing is he preyed on his own people. The latin immigrants are
afraid to approach the authorities on something like this and that is one of
the reasons that the guy was around for such a long time. Did they ever
catch him? I think the article I read said they were still looking for him
and that they think he fled to cuba or something.
p.s. - I remember the spatula thing and also he purchased vet supplies such
as pain killers for use on his patients....
