I liked how Willow has become a much stronger character too, getting all
super witch and everything..
I've heard that Sara Michelle Geller did not want to go to UPN so we've been
puzzling over whether this death thing is part of her not wanted to go to
UPN, but then the other characters would have trouble carrying a show called
Buffy the vampire slayer without a Buffy LOL

Joss went out of his way with the characters in it. Each one had their spot
and it showed them off perfectly. Giles talking to and then calmly killing
ben. Spike crying at the end. Anya professing her love to Xander after their
quickie. Even Xander and Willow's part after he said how "smart chicks are
so hot". Excellent work.
Of course, the last part was a bit of a stretch. If it's Dawn's blood, how
can buffy close the portal? Guess Joss'll clear it up in the 2 hour UPN
premiere.
