I've heard the new show goes back so far before "Star Trek Classic" that all
the equipment on the Enterprise is new.

That gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "To boldly go where no one has
gone before", but in this case it means making sure the just-installed
toilets work properly <hee hee>.

Oh, I can't wait until the fall and the new series. I haven't been this
excited about a new Star Trek series since TNG.  When I was a kid, I used to
speculate, wonder about the history of the Federation pre-Kirk. I would make
up my own history to fill in the blanks.  This is a great idea!
