<grin>

Advice well taken, bookmarked and written down! The college I'm teaching at
is turning to the MAcromedia curriculum, and they asked if I was going to
take the tests...I've been teaching ColdFusion for them for over 9 months
now...and I certainly want to make sure that it is me they turn to when all
is said and done.

I've been "grandfathered" into the CIW courses as I was an instructor there
before they switched the curriculum, but I don't believe Macromedia takes
that into consideration when approving the college as a "home" for people to
take their Macromedia training.

I certainly am not going to make a career out of training....but I really
enjoy it as an escape from running the
business...which can get really droll at times! <grin> Of course I have the
folks here to keep me cheery!

Well, what you have to do is brave the politics of the training department
and make sure you don't get on a certain persons bad side. I was once a
certified trainer for Allaire and actually trained once. I got great reviews
for it but was 'dropped' from the program for 'not being corporate enough to
represent Allaire'. It goes on from there, but that's besides the point.
Stick exactly to their material and mention the product a number of times
like you were a sales person and your safe. :)
Oh, don't mention my name as it's a black mark with her.
