Dan Phillip's comments just a moment ago (the first line at least) are
exactly what my guy tried to explain to me. I won't claim to know what it
means, but 8-bit and 11,025KhZ is the setting he was describing as being
acceptable for voice. Not good enough for much else, but good enough for
mono voice.

I tried mono and it was still rather large and saving as mpeg just didn't
save any space. I'm going to see what encoding it as real audio does for it.
As for re-recording it, I think the one on comments was either corrupted or
dies in upload so I'll have to do it again anyway.
Can you ask him about other audio settings. There's something for 8, 16 or
32 (I forget what it is) and another with a lot of options having a default
of something like 44000. This is probably the bits and kilohertz stuff.
