I'm sure it can be deducted (probably 100%) but the dilemma for small
business folk like myself is sometimes between investing in yourself for the
future OR paying employees, rent, self, software, hardware, other bills...
no decisions are made easier just by the opportunity to write off the
expense. No matter how you look at it its cash that you no longer have.

I am certainly no tax expert (thank you H&R Block.. ), but I have been
under the impression that conferences such as this, can be deducted from
taxes as employee training here in the US. Anyone know the law?
I'd think it would be quite helpful for a lot of people on the fence
about going because of cost.
