It's times like this when I wish I had listened to everyone when I was
growing up and become a top-flight civil law attorney. Can you imagine the
40% take (plus expenses, of course) from what could be squeezed from this
company's professional liability insurance carrier on a class action suit?
Add in the smaller stuff from settling out of court with all the independent
contractors who worked on the project, and you're set with Iranian Beluga
and vintage Cliquot for quite a while. I'm already salivating, and I don't
even have a J.D.!
Please tell your friends to talk to a _good_ attorney who specializes in
defamation and slander suits before they go any further.
