Yes, as you can see from both the article you mentioned and from my earlier
post, it is in the _civil_ courts where these things are directed (as they
should be), and _there_ is where the money is to be made from the liability
insurance carriers who rolled their dice on the businesses who ventured to
profit from making others suffer, from destroying with the uncaring stroke
of an electric quill the very foundation upon which America was founded:
personal privacy. (Oooh! Adam getting carried away!)
I can picture the cool, glistening gray Beluga luxuriously slipping from my
solid gold caviar spoon onto the cracked buckwheat blini topped with Creme
Fraishe right now... Oh, but the sheet ecstacy of that very first rivulet
of Cliquot, washing the taste of the sea down my throat like the cold
freshness of a mountain stream, cleansing my palate for yet another
delicious morsel of that which is denied to all but the purely victorious
men of this petty planet.
