heh .. well maybe they could whip up something in CF that could automate the
whole thing for them ;) It works for us. Someone comes to the site,
decides they want to use the web app. They sign up online. CF (and other
stuff) makes their web site, makes their database, enters them in the
billing system, and does some other fancy-schmancy stuff and Bingo .. they
are able to immediately use the app and the automated billing system takes
care of everything after that. The only time we have to touch anything is
if payments can't be automaticly taken (bad CC, whatever) and we have to
turn their account back on after the system automaticly shuts them off.
Now, if MM was more interested in invoicing, I can see how it would be
harder on them. They also don't have the um .. "incentive to pay" that
being able to shut off someone's CF server would provide. I don't know if
they would want to do it or not .. I guess they would have to look at
cost/benifit stuff and see if it's even worth it.
Now that I think about it .. an online app and license distribution are 2
different things and aren't really comparable in a "software rental" model.
Nevermind .. forget I spoke :)

| But does MM want to get into this. They would have to open an entire new

do
