Actually, that's pretty much what I was saying. Of course, my not being out
pounding the pavement makes my observations a bit removed.
The IT industry still needs people. Recent downturns, whether attributable
to the dot com crash, or the slowing economy in general, have created a
little slack. If you're an employer, no doubt that's a welcome bit of news.
The web development end of the IT industry I doubt is fairing nearly as
well, but a lot of those folks have already moved into more traditional IT
roles with established companies.
