I don't mind the one line replies..tis just as easy to hit delete..you can
tell its a one liner right away and just..click..
delete..and its gone.
I don't get very uptight about emails and such :)
And honestly..if you reserve yourself and your responses thinking that there
is always someone watching..when would you ever
just say what you have to say..and be yourself?
Anyways that is easy for me to say, I'm in Trinidad and the rest of you are
in the US. The chances of a 'headhunter' paying
any attention to me all the way over here are slim in the first place..so be
on your Ps and Qs everyone..

While this list may be for clowning around if people choose to do so, I
also understand that it can be a distraction for some people who are AT
work all day with deadlines, etc...
I also think that there are some headhunters and such subscribed to this
list, and I can only imagine the impressions they get of some people.
Seeing people with their hair down gives them a good idea of what they
can expect from people on this list like what they do all day, sense of
humor, friendliness, etc.
I usually read cf-community list email during evenings at home, and
those of you that feel bombarded with 'unprofessional' email from this
list should subscribe with your home account.
Something that really annoys me is a really short response like ':o)' or
'thanks' (and nothing else, just this) which I think is typically more
appropriate for chat communities, not mailing lists.
I know this is an issue that will probably never die... anybody want to
add their opinions or thoughts?
