"OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (AFP) � A Palestinian daily on Monday accused the Israeli
occupation army of using a new weapon � a woman
soldier who performed a striptease in front of stone-throwing Palestinian youths.
Al Hayat Al Jadid said that while her male comrades were being pelted with stones by
Palestinian protesters in the Gaza
Strip, the young woman climbed atop a barricade and started peeling off her uniform.
As the stone-throwers stared in amazement, she whipped out her pistol and opened fire
on them, said the paper, which is a
semi-official daily.
An army spokesman dismissed the report as �made-up and completely ridiculous.�
The paper ran the story on its front page, but without a photograph."
