Till someone writes a virus the retransmits itself using the "send file"
command in AIM.  Talk about rapid transmission...

Negligent homicide applies after someone gets killed (after software
actually compromises the network).  Reckless endangerment?  Maybe.  But this
guy's actions are more akin to shooting a gun full of blanks in his own
backyard.  Stupid, probably illegal, but not actually endangering anyone and
it definitely doesn't equal negligent homicide.

And that's ok with you?  That a state agency tasked with investigating
computer crimes doesn't understand technology?  Well, I guess I can't argue
that.  If it's ok with you, then it just is.  It's not ok with me.
