Hi,

...And if there is no need to display the ad, then it would be safe to
assume that there would never be a need to display the ad, and all of the ad
agencies discontinue showing the ad for this pop-up-killer-program. Since
there are no more ads for the program, no one downloads it, and because no
one has downloaded it, it's not even there to block it's own ad, and if it's
ad is no longer being blocked, then it would be safe to assume that it is a
valid advertisement, otherwise it would be blocked. But there is nothing to
be blocked, because no one shows the ad anymore anyways...

(I'm just BSing, but basically by having a pop-up-killer-program kill it's
own ads, it kills itself, which proves that pop-ups actually are useful. On
the other hand, if the program didn't kill its own ads, then no one would
download it, because it is just being cheap. So the program is bad no
matter what way you look at it, if it kills its own ads, it kills itself,
and if it doesn't kill its own ads, no one downloads it, and it dies, which
proves that pop-up-killer programs are useless anyway if they are meant to
die...)

but if the pop-up killer - kills its own ad - then there is no need to
display the ad ... the ultimate natural targeting filter.

Hi,

Isn't it kinda ironic how pop-up-killer-programs use popups to advertise
themselves? Now here's a good question - do these pop-up-killer-programs
kill advertisements for themselves...

A few weeks ago one site I went to had a pop-up window every 20 seconds or
so, and every 5th one was for a similar
pop-up killer program.

Talk about targeted advertising ...
