The unfortunate fact is that world politics is like schoolyard. If someone
comes over and hits you and you do nothing, then your a wimp and will be hit
again and again. You can run to a teacher but what happens when the teacher
is the one being hit. Loss of respect and authority. Loss of face. If there
was a different way to resolve this then I'd be all for it. Problem is,
they're going to find that its someone that they can't just call into the UN
(schmucks that they are). It's going to be someone who is going to have to
die to make sure this doesn't happen again. If he (or she) is left alive
then he can do it again. And he will.
Let me put this another way. My father is in shock. he was there and saw the
collapse. He walked from the city to Brooklyn with asthma and all. If he was
hurt than I'd personally work to find whoever caused this and would torture
them for the next 5 years. Do we have to kill whoever caused this? Yes!
