This is a question mainly for Mikey D.

Yesterday on my local public radio station, I heard an interview with a
person named Clifford Pickover.  During the interview, he mentioned that
the Jewish faith had not always been monotheistic in that they believed
in Yahweh being the supreme being, but they didn't discount other gods
being in the mix either.  Have you heard this before?  If it is true, it
seems pretty interesting on some levels.
