Apparently they pluck it out. The woman I talked to in the Eye Clinic today said she considered doing this herself but that it was very close to my eye and she did not feel comfortable attempting it. I did not ask what her job description was so I am not sure if she was an RN, a PA or a medical student herself. I was just happy the clinic was able to see me right away. She is sending me to the opthmologist, but apparently this isn't always a given. Meanwhile the eye doesn't hurt or anything, just waters a lot, trying to get the eyelash out I guess.
