This close to the festival, I doubt you could get a hotel room, but you
might find someone who wants to share a room.  I've never stayed in any of
the hotels.  Most of the times I have attended I was with someone who was
performing, and the festival arranged the lodging, although we usually
camped in the RV.   It's a magic place.  If you are within driving distance
you should try to attend at least once.  The lineup is great every year.

If you can't do Telluride, you should try Rocky Grass in July.  It also has
a great lineup.
