was my main router and VPN worked fine through it.
(And in case anyone is curious, my new network has a simpler router
upstairs, connected to the cable modem, with one of the ports going to a
powerline networking adapter, which leads downstairs to another one,
connected to the BEFW11S4 so I can have better wireless downstairs. :)
