I've uploaded the same report in two formats, here are the links:
ftp://ftp.depressedpress.com/FN04_Browsers.mht
ftp://ftp.depressedpress.com/FN04_Browsers.pdf
(The MHT is a Microsoft Hypertext Archive - it's slightly smaller at 4.9 MB,
but can only be viewed in IE - the other is a 6MB PDF.)
The report represents December 2003 ("First Night 2004" since we name the
events for the coming year).
The report covers 772,912 pages views/207,530 visits. The top browsers are:
Rank Browser Visits Percentage
1 IE 180,926 90.8
2 Netscape 12,248 6.1
3 Other 3,635 1.8
4 Internet Proxy 1,905 1.0
5 Microsoft WebDAV 407 0.2
6 Opera 80 0.0
7 SlimBrowser 16 0.0
8 FrontPage 4 0.0
Total(s) 199,221 N/A
I'm not sure if there's a geographic disparity in the US, but remember that
this is a Boston-based event -so it may represent a Northeastern bias.

I can give you the reports for FirstNight.org if you like. Very busy in
December.
