I have a router on a new circuit that is acting really weird.  It's a Cisco 2501 IOS v11.2.  The only thing we have running on there is one email server and one other server that is only using terminal services.  When we send a large email to the mail server the IP of the server stops responding.  After several minutes it comes back.  When this happens the mail server can still ping to the firewall and vice versa but there is no connectivity to the internet.  I can still, however, access the firewall web interface from the net.  So, it seems as though the only thing that stops is the conection between the router and the email server.

Has anyone ever seen something like this?  Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Howie
