Road trips in Europe are quaint little get aways and really impress your girlfriend. The same can be accomplished in any rustic setting, probably for a lot less, so look to local resources before crossing the pond. But really, if you love someone, and he / she loves you, then a getaway is meaningless because time together is bliss.
