What do you think the age of kids having sex is in the US now? In the UK
they pegged it that most kids had already had sex by age 15.
Does this mean that those children will be harmed as well for having sex
with each other?
Or does this harm apply primarily to relationships where one participant
is younger and the other much older?
What about if the teacher was 18?
Or one person 15 the other one 16?
Is it really due to harm, or is it primarily public perception?

See, the deal is that if you're less than 16 (in most states), you're
not legally old enough to consent to sex. So, it's looked upon the
same way as if she'd had sex with someone who was passed out drunk or
someone who was immobilized for some reason. So, it's essentially
statutory rape or sexual abuse.
And, while I don't want to come off as sounding all uptight about sex
or anything, I've seen the effects on overly sexualized teens enough
to know that it can have some pretty serious ramifications. (My mom
worked with sexually abused and sexually active kids for a long time.)
So, Gel, whether the kid was begging for it or not, it's still the
adults responsibility to set boundaries. It's a total mis-use of trust
and power.
