flawlessly with the military campaign going into the war.
Giving credit where credit is due, the CRUSHED ALL IRAQI opposition.
They incurred VERY few losses during the actual combat phase when you
take into account the scope of the area they had to cover.
They went in and actually managed to KILL Saddam's sons..AND capture
Saddam!
Those are fantastic accomplishments which I think the US, Bush and
everyone involved should be proud of!
They said, partially, that they were going to go in and get their guy
and that he would not escape..and thats what they did!
The US military performed their military tasks, to me , with great
success.
The problems are why were they there in the first place, and why were
they expected to hold ground and rebuild without proper planning for the
post-war Iraq period??
I think the actual..war as in the battle itself, went really well
actually.

God, Rush is an ass.
You may have noticed that we are not doing too well in this war because
our soldiers are getting killed by bullets and bombs and rockets.
This has nothing to do with the Democrats, and everything to do with a
poor plan and an deeply ingrained inability to admit mistakes.
I think Rumsfield would rather every US soldier die than admit his plan
sucked.
