No, they probably are good at what they do, that is also the point. There
are many people of color (or gender, or what have you) that are good. But I
am not convinced that part of the decision to bring them aboard (as in other
past administrations too) was based on the color of the their skin or their
gender AND they could get the job done. Sorry if you think I am
narrow-minded for believing that people would think that way or do something
that seems a bit base.

As to who votes for who, I can't say with absolute certainty how an
African-American would vote, I am not one. Or how gender and color affect
voting. Politicians have tried to figure that out for years. I do know,
having watched the political process for all of my adult life, about 25
years now, that candidates often look for people who will help them get
votes in a particular segment of the community. Read that as you will.
Frankly, I am not always sure I know why people vote the way they do.
