early summer in the Pacific Northwest. I liked Portland a lot. Best
coffee ever. But around mid-February when it had been raining
continously for four months I developed this atavistic need to be
absolutely anywhere else :) But oh... April was beautiful. Just
stunning. And the Columbia River gorge is one of the most beautiful
places I have ever seen. Definitely top ten. Not to mention the coast.
You did neglect to mention the Washington sales tax though...
