Sorry for getting back to you late, Charlie, this feature is not critical, so, I let it "loose", last time when I read this msg of yours, I began to think, oops, it must be the CSS that controls the presentation, hence, the direct copy of your code did not work.  Just now, I tested it to prove the assumption is correct and yes, your code works in an environment where CSS is not in control and if it is, somehow it won't mess up with your code.
