Yes, I can stretch one window across both monitors.  I don't do this very often other then to show off to fellow employees you think I have two different computers instead of two monitors on one computer.  It is a bit distracting tome to have that 2-3 inch gap in the middle of the display where the physical casing of the monitors split the window.  But it is possilble.

Can you span windows/apps across the two monitors, or do you have it set to forbid this? (one window across both monitors at once)
