respond to questions not posted to the list. I used to, but then one
person (who I won't name because I don't remember who he is) took
advantage of that, then got pissy when I told him that I needed to get
back to work, and pointed him at appropriate, topical resources.
Of course, being me, I'll make exceptions for friends and really
interesting problems. :-)
