How come filegate was a bureaucratic blunder but you
think this was a crime? Is every leak in Washington a
crime?
A short time ago, the ranking Democrat on the
committee, Senator Jay Rockefeller, released a
statement that said, in part, "The draft memo leaked
to the press today was written by staff and was likely
taken from a waste basket or through unauthorized
computer access. The draft memo was not approved nor
was it shared with any member of the Senate
Intelligence Committee or anyone else."
