approve of legislation that changed the current most common definition of
marriage as a union between two people into a definition that required those
people to be of a different sex?
They are imposing their opinion on me. I don't know if I would approve of it
or not.
I will say this tho:
I do not agree with gays not being able to have the same tax benefits,
insurance benefits, etc.
I would agree with a law that would give them equal access to those rights,
but leave the instituion of marriage out of it.
(that would answer everyone else who ask if I would favor an alternative)
I hope you guys don't think I am this mean person who wants to put everyone
gay in a gas chamber. I have no bad feelings toward anyone. Not in my
makeup. I just happen to be raised as a Christian and those beliefs drive
how I live my life. That should be respected.
