Monique, read Jefferson's letters to the Danforth Baptist Church, and
his and Madison's letters to John Adams and others. They clearly
discussed the concept of a clear wall separating church and state.
Madison chided the Constitutional Convention for not being more
forceful in its wording on the matter. The intent and the meaning is
quite clear. They wanted the two to be very separate and not interact.
