First, I am calm (another assumption on your part). Just because I am
passionate about my beliefs and that those beliefs contradict yours, by no
means demonstrate any lack of composure.

Here we go with the assumptions again. How in the world can you possibly
understand what motivates them? You have a problem with loving your
country? From your previous posts I would have thought that you did love
this country. I worked with generals, colonels, lt. colonels, etc. and
they
are there because they have a tremendous love for this nation. That's
what
motivates them. They strive for those positions because they want to be
the
best. They are very goal oriented, driven, organized, and motivated
people.
No different, personality-wise, than CEO's, priests, professional
athletes,
talk-show hosts, PhD.'s or even CF-programmers that have dedicated their
lives to something that they love. Do you have a problem with people that
do that, or just those that do it in the military? How about this, why
don't you spell out for me what it is that you believe motivates military
leaders to get to that level as it is apparant that I don't get it.

And just to make sure that this part is clear, I am quite calm and
rational.
If I was not, these e-mails would be littered with profanities or at least
things that resembled profanities.

Respectfully and rationally with no hint of anger, disdain, contempt, or
hatred on my part,

Michael
