Well, added to the fact that when my son was born, my wife also have a
Bilateral Tubal Ligation, yes, it got pretty severe. Never to the point that
I was worried that she would hurt herself or my son, but it _did_ have an
adverse impact on our marriage. She was depressed due to hormone imbalance
after birth, which was compounded by the depression that came due to her
doubting her decision to have the ligation. It was pretty tough.

She is also quite stubborn and refused to seek any help for the condition,
claiming that all a doctor would do would tell her what she already knew. It
lasted at least 6-9 months, if not more. I can't tell you for sure, as there
were quite a few other influences at that time. I will tell you that
although I tried to be supportive, there were times where my own behavior
was not something to be proud of.

Yes, she does reflect on it now, as, even though I saw the doctor cut her
tubes (she had it done during the c-section) she is pregnant again, and I am
  concerned again.
