I believe there are no limitations in core support (although I think that
things like DTS and other auxiliary "enterprise" features might be
missing/crippled).

I think it uses just as much RAM as the full version however - the problem
is that can't scale past 1 gig.  But under a Gig it'll use just as much RAM
as the data center edition, I think.

SQL Server really is the odd man out on the "Express" line up - the rest of
the tool are all visual development tools.  SQL Server is the only server
application and I think it's the easiest one to limit - I'm not sure how
they're going to limit the rest of the tools without crippling them.

So ignore for a moment actually using SQL Server Express in
production. If you were ONLY using it to do dev work and planned on
using a "real" SQL Server in production, does SQL Server Express have
any limitations on SQL/Stored Procs/etc? If not - and if it uses less
RAM, this would be great for developers.
