I spent every morning of 6th grade in the principal's office for refusing to say the entire pledge. My mother and teacher actually begged me to just say it to avoid the half hour in the office, but I didn't want to.

I also spent many mornings in the principal's office in 5th grade for wearing a baseball cap. I thought that it was wrong that girl's could wear the same cap all day, but boy's had to take them off. I still think it was wrong.
