speech he said that people had tried to make American cities into
killing fields, and they had failed. This in a speech announcing that
war in Iraq was "over"

  As for yellowcake, the British are now saying that such an attempt did
  take place. I have not had a chance to look through the new
  information but even supposing it was true, would this have made Iraq
  such an imminent threat that we could not have waited for our allies?
